School of Fish: the 12th annual Birmingham Park and Recreation Family Fishing Rodeo (the largest community fishing event in the state). East Lake Park, Saturday, June 6, 7 a.m. - 1 p.m. Free!
East Lake will be stocked with tons of fish for this one, tipping the odds of a Saturday night supper of fried catfish in your favor. Pack the kids, your favorite bait and a cane pole or two.
