Alabama Scenic River Trail Ghost Tour
Since the leaves have started turning to their fall colors , it promises to be a breathtaking ride. Recently, two eagles have been spotted in the area . Maybe we will catch sight of them on our journey .

Ghost Paddle this weekend!
It starts this
Friday night when we go in search of Crazy Nancy as she roams Haines
Mountain , or as
some call it Crazy Nancy's Mountain !
Saturday Morning , after a warming breakfast , we
shuttle up to Haines Island and put in . We will paddle 13.5 miles back to our
camp , exploring the pristine creeks and backwaters of the Alabama River as we
go.

colors , it promises to be a breathtaking ride. Recently, two eagles have been
spotted in the area . Maybe we will catch sight of them on our journey

Saturday night we will fry fish and listen to some
guitar picking from a local group.
Sunday we have a unique adventure awaiting us , we
will lock thru Claiborne dam , then hunt for fossils in the rivers banks .
Locking thru a dam is always an unusual experience , doing it in a paddle boat
is even more exciting !
After our short 5 mile cruise , we shuttle back to
Isaac Creek Campground to break camp.
Mother Nature appears to have given her blessing on
this Event , the weather forecast is calling for sunny skies , warm days , and
cool nights !
What better camping and paddling weather ?
The Registration price is $85.00 . This covers all
your meals, shuttles, and camp . You need only bring your camping gear , boat ,
life jacket , paddle , and water bottles for the
cruise.
