Coosa Valley Earth Day Celebration 2013

                           Noccalula Falls Park
                        Saturday, April 27, 2013
                   Exhibits:  10:00 am – 4:00 pm

Sponsored by the Coosa Valley Sierra Club, the City of Gadsden, Coosa Riverkeeper, and the Etowah County Tourism Board

On behalf of the Coosa Valley Sierra Club, we invite you to be a vital part of our celebration, honoring the Earth and our beautiful area.  This will be the second public Earth Day celebration in the Gadsden area, and we believe it will be a popular event.  It will be widely advertised.

The Earth Day event will host environmental displays and activities, a variety of interactive educational opportunities for children and adults, a farmers’ market, local arts and crafts, and live music in a family-fun atmosphere.    You have an opportunity to support the environment, network with environmentalists, and collect positive publicity for your organization or business by exhibiting at the Coosa Valley Earth Day Celebration, 2013.

The goals of this event are to provide environmental education and opportunities to enjoy nature.  We will focus on water this year.  We wish to demonstrate how the health and availability of water is strongly related to our own health, as well as to the health of our local economy.
