Green Weekend at Birmingham-Southern College
In May 1990, BSC was recognized as a Point of Light Award winner, and President George H.W. Bush visited the college to present the award. This award was bestowed for work by the BSC Conservancy to bring recycling and other environmentally aware programs to our campus and our community. Now, 20 years later, we will come together to celebrate our progress and many environmental successes, both on campus and in our community, with our first-ever Green Weekend.
