On Saturday, November 10, 2007 from 6 pm – 9pm, Rojo will host a silent auction featuring original works by some of Birmingham’s premiere artists as well as unique items from area merchants.  Come and have dinner and a drink, enjoy the friendly atmosphere of Birmingham’s favorite restaurant with live music by The Spots, and bid for your chance to win some incredible art.

All proceeds from this event benefit the Hulsey Little River Trust, whose mission is to preserve and protect the Little River watershed.  The trust was formed in late 2006 to honor Shane Hulsey, a passionate environmentalist and kayaker who had a special love for Alabama's Little River Canyon, where he lost his life in a boating accident. The subsequent outpouring of love inspired friends and family to take action to bring about some good from his tragic and untimely death. We hope you'll help us honor his memory and protect one of Alabama's most spectacular natural places by supporting the Raindrop Festival Art Auction!

The auction is open to the public and admission is free.  Please make plans to attend this special event & share in the spirit of giving and community that it represents.

Visit www.hlrt.org for updates.
