DESCRIPTION:Join us for ‘Stream Restoration\n\nConstruction’ works
 hop held in\n\nJasper\, Alabama May 29\, 2008.\n\nThe workshop will ce
 nter on Town\n\nCreek Tributary\, an urban stream\n\nin the City of Ja
 sper bordering\n\nMaddox Middle School.\n\nThis workshop will be condu
 cted\n\nduring construction of an urban\n\nstream restoration project 
 at the\n\nSchool. Participants will learn\n\nabout plan sheet developm
 ent\,\n\nconstruction specifications\,\n\npermitting\, and constructio
 n\n\noversight while observing channel\n\ngrading and structure instal
 lation.\n\nThe workshop will be split\n\nbetween classroom and extensi
 ve\n\nfield work.\n\nInstructors will emphasize urban\n\nstream condit
 ions specific to the\n\nsoutheastern U.S. Workshop\n\ninstructors have
  experience\n\nworking on more than 40 stream\n\nassessments and resto
 ration\n\nprojects throughout the Southeast.
